In the middle of writing a post last night, the power went out. When the power came back on it was at half capacity. So no air conditioning, tv, and hardly any lights or fans. I saw the DTE trucks and water trucks pull into the neighborhood about 10:30 this morning and still no power. We had a pretty good storm last night. Anyone else get hit hard?

I guess it's a good weekend for MPCon after all.

I think the storm we're having right now is actually worse than the one last night!

When i got home from hanging out with you guys I had no power. I also have no flashlights. I located my ipod, turned on the back light and got to work.

I found, a 12v battery from my old battery backup, two lights from my last computer case, and some wire. I managed to rig this up to make a light that lit up the whole apartment. It was green, but i could see. :)
